  1. New features for Comm 1.33
  2.  
  3.    o WXMODEM uploads are now supported.
  4.         No special menu entry is required for WXMODEM uploads.  The type 
  5.       of transfer (XMODEM vs WXMODEM) is determined by the receiver.
  6.       Comm will use the transfer method requested by the receiving end.
  7.  
  8.    o Default baud rate is taken from system-configuration file.
  9.         Use Preferences to change the start up baud rate.
  10.  
  11.    o New Hot Keys added for Phone Directory Menu
  12.         RIGHT AMIGA H -- will hang up the phone.
  13.         RIGHT AMIGA A -- selects the Alternate Long Dist. Service
  14.         RIGHT AMIGA # -- dials entry # from the phone library.
  15.                            # is a single digit from 1 through 9
  16.  
  17.    o On screen indication of the state of the file capture.
  18.          When ASCII CAPTURE is enabled, the word "ON" will be seen in the
  19.        lower right hand corner of the screen.  If capture is suspended,
  20.        the word "SUS" will be there.  If file capturing is off, then
  21.        nothing will be visible in the corner.

  23.    o DOS 1.2 support.
  24.         Comm can detect the version of DOS used on your machine.  If DOS 1.1
  25.       is being used, the following features are disabled.

  27.          o String gadgets auto activate.
  28.               The string gadgets in the INPUT WINDOW will be activated as
  29.             soon as the window opens.  You do not need to click in the box
  30.             to enter text.

  32.               When the INPUT WINDOW opens, the default directory gadget will
  33.             be active.  If you wish to change the default file directory,
  34.             you may do so at this time.  If you do not wish to change the
  35.             file directory, simply hit RETURN.  At this point, the filename
  36.             gadget will become active and you may enter the filename
  37.             desired.

  39.          o PAL screen support.
  40.               Comm will determine which video system is used by your
  41.             computer.  If NTSC (USA) system is used, Comm will open a
  42.             terminal screen sized 640 x 200.  If the PAL system is used,
  43.             the screen dimensions will be 640 x 256.
  44.  
  45.    o WXMODEM receive bugs fixed.
  46.               Fixed the 'bad header in ARC file' problem.
  47.               Timeouts are handled better in this version.
  48.  
  49.    o Screen color can be changed.
  50.               Comm will use your default screen colors.  You may however
  51.             patch certain areas of Comm with a file zap program to install
  52.             your favorite color combinations.  Info available in file
  53.             Comm.patch.
  54.  
  55.    o Misc.
  56.               XMODEM transmit -- if the filename selected for transmission
  57.             does not exist, you will be presented with a requester informing
  58.             you of this.  Select the CONTINUE option in the requester.
  59.             The INPUT WINDOW will return allowing you to enter a new file
  60.             name.

  62.               ASCII capture -- if the filename selected for capturing screen
  63.             data already exists, you will be presented with a requester
  64.             informing you of this.  You have the option to CANCEL or
  65.             CONTINUE.  If you select CANCEL, the INPUT WINDOW will return
  66.             allowing you to enter a new filename.
  67.               If you select CONTINUE, you will be presented with another
  68.             requester with options APPEND or DELETE.
  69.               Select DELETE to overwrite the old file data with the new
  70.             data.
  71.               Select APPEND to add the new data to the end of the old data.
  72.  
  73.             The APPEND/DELETE options do not apply when the short cut file
  74.             capture (RAM:Capture.txt) option is used.  This file is always
  75.             overwritten.
